‘Devastated’ Shah Rukh Khan Is Spending Sleepless Nights Worrying About His Son Aryan Khan’s Health In Jail-Report
As per the latest report, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan are devastated as they did not expect their son Aryan Khan to be under custody for so long.
Shah Rukh Khan and his family are going through a difficult time due to Aryan Khan's arrest in a drug bust case. Aryan was arrested after the NCB conducted a raid following a tip-off about drug use in a Goa-bound Cordelia cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. He has been moved to Arthur Road Jail last week along with the other accused. While SRK and his wife Gauri Khan have kept away from the media glare, as per the latest report, the couple is devastated as they did not expect their son to be under custody for so long.
According to the latest report in Indian Today, Shah Rukh Khan has been spending sleepless nights, following up on the case and maintaining contact with NCB officials on his son’s well-being. The channel quoted a source close to the family saying, “It didn’t dawn on them that this will go on for such a long time. While the news of the arrest sent shock waves through the industry, SRK immediately sought legal advice on the matter dialling up some of the best experts in the country. Satish Maneshinde was approached, and he gave SRK the confidence that Aryan would be out sooner than expected. However, that wasn’t the case as the court rejected his bail plea on the grounds that it was ‘unmaintainable’ and that news really shook the family.”
The insider added that Shah Rukh Khan has been spending sleepless nights. “Gauri and SRK make multiple calls throughout the day to check on his health. Even though there is no direct access to Aryan, information on his well-being is conveyed to the family. There even was a request made to send home-cooked meals and his personal belongings to Aryan.”
The report also stated that SRK is not likely to issue any official comment or statement on Aryan till the dust settles and he’s back home. It is being that Shah Rukh Khan and the family are likely to take a call regarding his future and stay in India once Aryan is out.
The source also mentioned that the family feels "let down by the legal system" and delays. “This arrest has proved that no one is safe, and it could be any other star son or daughter in the coming days. To live in fear or to have an open social life is a choice that every celebrity kid will have to make,” the source further said.
